Genesis Tots
Genesis Tots meets weekly during the school term on alternate Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons and caters for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers (0 –5 years), as well as their moms, dads, grandparents, nannies and au pairs.
The Tuesday morning group is a very relaxed opportunity for the adults to connect and share while the little ones interact.
The Wednesday afternoon group consists of informal activities for the children (arts, crafts, singing Bible songs, Bible storytelling, indoor and outdoor play), as well as teatime and an opportunity for the adults to connect.
Genesis Kids
The Genesis Kids’ programme runs on Sundays during the first half of the 9am mass and is a wonderfully nurturing place for young children to begin their journey with Christ. For children from ages 1 –7, there are two groups (for 2–4s and 5–7s) and they return to the church at the offertory.
Material is prepared by our kids’ co-ordinators and the sessions are run by four volunteer parents per session who share a child-friendly version of the Sunday Gospel. They sing bible songs, pray and do an activity which they present to Father Harrie when they return to the church at the offertory.
Family Fun Days are also hosted quarterly on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Catechesis of The Good Shepherd (Grades 1–5)
Good Shepherd is a sensorially rich experience for children from the ages of 3 –12 years. It gives them the opportunity to grow in the love and knowledge of God. Rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the Church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori, the children gather in a dedicated room, (the Atrium), which contains simple, yet beautiful materials which they use to help them absorb the most essential proclamations of the Catholic faith.
We believe that God and the child have a unique relationship with each other, and that the growth of this relationship should be assisted by the adult, but is directed by the Spirit of God within the child. Children need their own place to foster the growth of that relationship.

Genesis Moms
Genesis Moms Connect takes place twice a term and is an opportunity for the moms and grannies to enjoy some “kiddie-free” time together. Social and enrichment events are alternated.
Genesis Dads
An opportunity for dads to connect via quarterly ‘fathers only’ and family events, offering support to each other and connection as we navigate being dad in a family in this generation.
