The Archbishop has instructed that parishes may begin with a phased process of preparation for a return to public worship.  However, due to the risks still being too great, public worship will only be allowed after the peak of Covid has been reached.  This could still take a few months and an announcement will be made at a later date.

Mass at St Michaels

Every Sunday morning you can tune into our streamed mass which comes to you live from the parish, with celebrant, Father Harrie Hovers and preaching covered by Fr Harrie and parish deacons, Rev. Les Ruhrmund and Rev. Tony van Vuuren.

The mass is streamed live to both Facebook Live and YouTube, or you can also play replay the recordings afterwards on either platform.

Church Events at St Michael’s

Next RCIA course starts

Zoom Sessions | 3 August 2020 | No cost

RCIA is a process that prospective converts to Catholicism undergo to come into full communion with the Church. It is aimed at adults and candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices.  The process is also used for those Catholic and non-Catholics who want to learn more about the Catholic Faith as well as baptised Catholics who have not been confirmed and are seeking confirmation.

The next course starts 3 August 2020 and will be held each Monday night, culminating in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night.

Please email Gill Greenwood for more information or to register.
